There is a loose Chihuahua running around the neighborhood. He was in front of my home on Deermont Trail (west) and heading towards Whispering Hills. I tried to get it to come to me without success. He (or she) darted off. Check with anyone you know who owns a Chihuahua. It was a brown color, last seen around 10:00 am today (Friday the 26th).

We live at 10108 Brentridge Court. We just noticed one of or chickens are missing from our backyard. It is a brown naked neck chicken, it has no feathers on it's neck or chest. We live on Cimmaron and while we did not lose power last night we have lost power twice in the last week. Both times it went off at about 11pm and came back on at 2am.

Here's a description by a neighbor who drove the area to try and see what was going on: Most of the homes south of Lawler had power. A couple of blocks west of Whispering Hills but south of Cimmaron Trail had power. The rest of us from the Garland City Limits to Audelia was out including Richland Park. The traffic signal at Audelia and Walnut was out but the apartments on both side of Walnut were on. The power outage did not affect Richardson. The traffic light at Whispering Hill and Buckingham was completely out. Up until 11:30 P.M., when I drove the neighborhood, I did not see any sign of Oncor. I called Dallas Police after midnight and was told that the police was aware of the outage and was talking to Oncor.

Does anyone know why we had a power outage last night (2/8)? We're on West Desert Willow and know that our street, Hedgeapple, and Panther Ridge were dark. Lost power at 11:00 pm and I believe it came back on around 2 a.m. Just curious!

As of Saturday, 182 residents have joined WHNA for 2010. We still have a ways to go to meet our goal of over 200 members but we are making good progress. Our last resident to join used our new PayPal feature. To date Desert Willow West has the highest percentage of members with 6 of 8 for 75%. This is closely followed by Belmark Circle with 6 of 9 for 66%. Cimmaron Trail East and Deermont Trail West are tied with the highest number of members at 12 each.
